Why We Built Labyrinth

After more than 50 years of combined experience conducting, supporting, and leading research and innovation, we gained a rare, enterprise-level perspective on the R&D ecosystem. Working at the intersection of government, academia, industry, and technology transition, we developed the relationships, strategic insight, and practical experience needed to move breakthrough ideas from discovery to deployment. Along the way, we also saw where the system breaks down, and why too many high-potential possibilities never materialize.

Too often, we observed organizations, including our own, making high-consequence decisions with fragmented information and limited visibility into the broader picture. Promising partnerships never formed, funding opportunities were missed, and mission-critical technologies stalled without a chance of ever reaching those who needed them most.

We founded Labyrinth to change that.

Today, our proprietary intelligence platform, combined with decades of experience, and a unique understanding of and powerhouse network of operators within the national security innovation ecosystem, Labyrinth helps organizations identify high-value opportunities, build stronger partnerships, and make data-driven, strategic decisions that accelerate the transition of mission-critical technologies from research to real-world capability.
